About the opportunity

The Operations Manager runs the daily rhythm of the function: scheduling, staffing, standards, escalation, and continuous improvement of routine work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operational scheduling and workload allocation
• Supervise, coach, and develop operational staff
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service-level performance
• Maintain documented standard operating procedures
• Resolve escalations and operational exceptions
• Control consumables, inventory, and operational spend
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or diploma in business, operations, or a related field
• Proven experience supervising an operational team
• Familiarity with performance reporting and scheduling systems

What success looks like

• Service levels are met consistently
• Procedures are documented and followed
• Team turnover and absence remain within target
• Escalations are resolved within agreed timeframes
